Why is typography important? This infographic from Fast Company explains why (while also blatantly misspelling differences…)

Google has stepped up the advertising for their “Deal-of-the-Day” product, Google Offers (still a beta version). Google Offers is direct competition to hugely popular sites like GroupOn and Living Social. Currently only offering deals in NYC (Uptown, Downtown and Midtown), Portland, Oakland/East Bay, and San Francisco, the Internet giant has plans to expand their deals to 16 more cities including Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Miami, Philadelphia, and Denver.
Google Offers promises discounts of 50% or higher and gives visitors a “look inside” featured local businesses. While I’m all about getting a good deal, I’m not sure if we need another group-deal site to fill our inboxes with alluring offers of massages and discounted nights out.
